Whether you are looking for fresh fruit and veg straight off the farm, or that unique gift for the hard-to-buy friend or family member, you can be sure to find just the thing at the Rotary Club of Griffith’s Sunday Markets.

Farmers, artisans, green-thumbs, and crafters are at the Griffith Showgrounds each Sunday from 7am to 12noon.

Peg’s hand-made products will return to the markets this Sunday, with everything from knitted Bananas in Pyjamas or tissue boxes transformed into bear sofas. Lisa from Sew Many Options has added new scrunchies to her collection of hand-made goodies.

“I make scrunchies, bows, headbands, bookmarks, sock protectors, water bottle covers, baby wraps, pram blankets and bags,” Lisa said.

“I have lots of beautiful new scrunchies and pram blankets.”

Set the alarm and get out early to get your hands on some of the freshest produce around, everything from seasonal fruit and veg right through to local honey and strawberry icy poles.

Stroll through the vendors and collect fresh eggs, candy, plants, scrunchies, hand-made gifts, biscuits, pizza bases, candles, jewellery, oils and preserves, clothes, and gift ideas for all ages. You can even check out chooks, ducks and piglets.

The Griffith Rotarians have set up for COVID safety and all they ask is a gold coin donation as entry. Drop down to the markets this Sunday and see what takes your fancy.
