Chance To See Golden Guitar Queens In Rankins Springs

Multi-Golden Guitar winners country music stars Amber Lawrence and Catherine Britt are hitting the road again together bringing their Love and Lies Tour to regional Australia.
Rankins Springs resident Linda Cairns saw an opportunity to bring celebrated country music stars to her village and entered an online competition.
Catherine Britt and Amber Lawrence now head to the Riverina next weekend, playing at Rankins Springs Golf Course on Saturday, March 28.
The event begins at 4pm.
Ms Cairns said she hopes the event will promote the area and bring the community together.
To provide for travelling guests, there is camping available at Rankins Springs Caravan Park.
It’s suggested that you bring your own picnic blanket or chair. No alcohol is allowed to be bought in and no tickets will available at the gate. This is a cash-only event on the day as there is no EFT or ATM available. A barbeque and bar will be provided.
Catherine Britt has been recognised by the Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) as Vocalist of the Year in 2017 for her celebrated singlet “F U Cancer’ which she released following breast cancer, Female Artist in 2016, 2013 and 2009 and Single of the Year in 2012.
Amber Lawrence won CMAA 2021 Vocal Collaboration of the Year for the cover of John Williams’ ‘True Blue’, which she recorded with Aleyce Simmonds, Kirsty Lee Akers and Dianna Corcoran, Vocal Collaboration and Single of the year with Travis Collins in 2018 and was recognised as Female Artist of 2015.
