Experiencing the ups and downs of his friends’ cancer journey has inspired nine-year-old Samuel Farrell to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave, raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Sam wanted to raise $3,000 in support of the foundation’s work in assisting Australians diagnosed with blood cancer.

“I want to help people and I have a friend who has cancer and it is really hard to go through,” he said.

Shaving his head is something small he can do to make life easier for people living with Leukaemia.

“Sam is always the first to want to help others,” said his mum Shannon Ragen. The shave will take place at Griffin Hair Studio on Saturday at 12:15 pm. If you’d like to support Samuel’s shave, head to http://bit.ly/3ejeFUQ on the World’s Greatest Shave website.
