Murrumbidgee Shire’s new tourism website, Visit Murrumbidgee, is now live.

Murrumbidgee Council has announced the launch of its new tourism website, Visit Murrumbidgee, designed to promote the diverse range of tourism experiences available throughout the Murrumbidgee area.

This vibrant new platform will highlight the unique attractions, events and services offered across Coleambally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie.

Providing a comprehensive resource for both visitors and locals, it includes detailed information on everything from scenic spots and cultural landmarks to local dining and accommodation options.

It complements the new main council website that was also launched recently.

Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae said the new tourism site aimed to enhance the visibility of the Murrumbidgee area as an attractive travel destination.

Mayor McRae also highlighted its role in supporting the local economy by driving tourism and encouraging exploration of the area’s hidden gems.

“The Visit Murrumbidgee website is more than just an online resource; it’s a gateway to discovering the rich and diverse experiences our region has to offer,” Mayor McRae said.

“Visit Murrumbidgee reflects our commitment to showcasing the best of our towns and making it easier for visitors to discover all that our area has to offer.

“The website features maps, town specific information and curated itineraries to help visitors plan their trips and make the most of their stay.

“Whether it’s exploring historic sites, enjoying outdoor adventures, or indulging in local cuisine, Visit Murrumbidgee provides all the tools needed to create memorable experiences.

“We invite everyone to explore the website, plan their visit, and experience firsthand the warmth and hospitality of our community.”
