Swell Vox Comes To Griffith

The Swell Vox Concert is part of a day promoting understanding of organ and choral music at the Cathedral, which begins with a free 10am organ playing masterclass, and concludes with the 6pm choral, piano and organ concert. The convenor of Swell Vox, Mr James Flores, an Albury based organist and musician, has various connections to the Griffith region. Keen to encourage new people to consider taking on playing the pipe organ, and learning that we are looking for a new Cathedral organist, he offered to run a day's promotion of appreciation of the diverse repertoire and joy of pipe organ and choral music.

This unique and special event will include piano and organ recitals by James Flores and young Albury virtuoso, Tom Sommerfield, as well as choral performances by Swell Vox: an all-male, university age choral group, based in Albury.
